K-PACS works on the short date format set for the computer. Close K-PACS, change the short date format in Windows to the desired format and restart the application. It will then use the new date format.
No, the DICOM SOP class, in which ECG data is normally written, is not supported by the K-PACS viewer.
Yes, there is. If you create patient media with iQ-LITE using the main application iQ-VIEW/PRO, the configured overlay of the main application will also be copied to the medium and used in the iQ-LITE viewer. Refer to the iQ-VIEW/PRO Administration Guide for instructions on how to configure the overlay in the OverlayMapping.script file. If you create iQ-LITE media without the use of the main application, the same overlay configuration is available to you. But you will have to do it in a file called OM.cfg. You can find all details on how to do this in the respective iQ-LITE Administration Guide.
Of course, you can also contact the local reseller from whom you have purchased our software. They will be able to assist you in case of questions.
Also note that we have released iQ-VIEW/PRO and iQ-LITE 3.1 in the meantime. We highly recommend upgrading to the latest software version in order to make use of the latest features, bug fixes and security measures. Contact your local reseller for details about upgrades beforehand.
There seems to be a conflict concerning the file ssleay32.dll, which is used in iQ-VIEW/PRO as well as in the application Fing from Overlook. There are different options that you can try:
- If you don't need the other application, uninstall it from the system and start iQ-VIEW/PRO afterwards.
- If you still need Fing, try copying the files ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll, used in iQ-VIEW/PRO, from their usual location at C:\Program Files (x86)\iQ-VIEW\Library to the iQ-VIEW/PRO root folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\iQ-VIEW. Afterwards try to start iQ-VIEW/PRO.
- You could rename the ssleay32.dll in the bin folder of your Fing installation. Afterwards try to start iQ-VIEW/PRO. If it works, rename the Fing-related file again to its original name and check if iQ-VIEW/PRO still works after doing so.
It would be helpful if you could post your results here as we are interested in the solution that works for you.
Load the study you want to export images from into the viewer. Choose "Export" from the top menu, then item "Export image(s)" and then select what exactly you want to export (current image, series, study etc.). Afterwards choose the export directory and the image type (bmp, jpg, tiff).
Please refer to the instructions for use document which comes with the application and can be opened as a pdf file directly from the user interface. It explains the difference between the two options and gives an example.
Basically, with static windowing all images of a series will have the same C/W values, no matter what their original values were. With dynamic windowing, the C/W values of every image will be shifted under consideration of their original values. That does not become obvious in series where all images have the same original values anyway. But especially in MR studies, often every image has slightly different values. When shifting brightness and contrast in such a series using dynamic windowing, you will see that the brightness/contrast is adapted, but still all images have slightly different values. Using static windowing in such cases may lead to window settings that are not optimal for individual images.

AI based improvement of patient security and reading performance
- 5% - 20% of patients have previous studies with a different patient identifier (Patient ID) and/or similar spellings of the patient name, e.g. Prof. Andre Mayer vs. André Mayer. Regular PACS cannot allocate such relevant datasets.
- iQ-VIEW PRO 3.1 allocates ~99.5% of relevant prior studies in a PACS through automatic matching of similar patient names in addition to checking only the patient ID.
- A more compact overview allows reading physicians to identify relevant studies quicker.
- Note: If you use iQ-VIEW PRO 3.1 in combination with iQ-WEB, you must run iQ-WEB version ≥ 6.2.3.
Significant performance improvements
- The application start is much faster.
- Image retrieval from remote archives works approx. 25% faster, especially for studies with many images, such as CT and MR.
- The new CallHelper tool allows over 100% faster access to studies using a remote call from a HIS/RIS.
New zoom presets
- Additional presets now allow displaying images at 1/2 or 1/3 of their size for faster reading of x-ray studies.
Display of patient age in study table
- Many medical decisions are made in relation to the patient age. The local study table shows not only the date of birth, but how old the patient was at the time of study acquisition.
Support for additional film/paper formats for DICOM print
- Version 3.1 prints all DICOM-defined film formats.
- Further special formats are intended to optimize the printing of stitched images (e.g. with full spine or extremities as 1:1 prints).

You can purchase a life-time license, which will last as long as the computer works and does not change. Migration of your life-time license to another computer is possible but may come with a fee. Alternatively, you can go for subscription and purchase a time-limited license, e.g. for one year. In that case, your license will stop working when the license expires.
It is highly recommended to also get and renew the annual service package, as this includes technical support in case of issues with the purchased software. It also includes software updates and upgrades that become available during the time your ASP runs.
You will need a replacement license which will come for a fee unless you have a valid ASP. Contact your local reseller, from whom you purchased our software originally, with the previous license details to discuss the license transfer and software upgrade (in case you did not use version 3.00 before).
Are you using a Windows 7 OS?
Please download the latest version of iQ-VIEW from our Download Center. Before installing, make sure that all Windows Updates are installed on your system and that no Windows Updates are currently pending. This probably requires rebooting the system.
If this still does not work, contact your local reseller for further assistance.
We generally recommend updating the Windows operating system regularly in order to keep the system stable and secure. Also anti-virus software should be used and should be updated regularly, including virus scans. You can find information about necessary maintenance tasks in the iQ-VIEW Administration Guide.

Depending on how the patient medium was created, there may be web content on the medium as well. Look for a web page file (by default INDEX.HTM) or for images in non-DICOM format (e.g. JPEG or PNG) in the folder structure on the medium. This may enable you to take a look at the medical images in non-diagnostic form without using the viewer burned onto the medium.
Otherwise, you may use a Windows emulation for MacOS on your Apple device and start the application in an emulated Windows environment.

Which iQ-LITE version are you using?
This sounds like the scaling used on your display suggests to the application that a resolution lower than 1024x768 is used on the system, although the actually set resolution is higher than the required minimum. In that case, set the scaling down to 100%. It may also be that you are using a display in portrait mode and the width is really lower than 1024 pixels.
